Our spacious room boasted a sumptuous four-poster bed, complementing the delightful daily treat of cava and fresh fruit, a touch that reminisced of boutique hospitality I admire in my architectural travels. The breakfast spread was impressive, suffused with local flavors, though I must admit the toaster could use a speed upgrade! While exploring the beautiful surroundings, we were captivated by the tranquil atmosphere—ideal for leisurely walks, especially after the rains had subsided. The inviting outdoor pool, still clean and well-maintained despite the chill, was a refreshing escape. With only a 15-minute jaunt to Girona, the hotel seamlessly merges convenience with rural charm; a perfect combination for a weekend of architectural exploration. All in all, I left feeling rejuvenated, and with a yearning to return for another idyllic stay.
